Position Summary
We are looking for a creative and self-driven Digital Media Content Specialist to join our marketing team and help bring our corporate brand and the cruise ferry travel experience to life. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the Caribbean, tourism, and visual content creation across video, photo, and design.
You will be responsible for planning, producing, and publishing engaging digital content across social media, websites, email campaigns, and promotional platforms. From showcasing breathtaking destinations to capturing onboard moments, your work will connect travelers with our brand and drive engagement, loyalty, and bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Production

Lead on the day-to-day management of our digital channels, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content in alignment with the marketing objectives.

Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photo content from onboard our ferries, at ports, and in destinations.

Produce content for Facebook, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and promotional ads.

Create supporting graphics, motion elements, and branded visuals for digital use working with external agencies when necessary.

Contribute to and work with relevant team and stakeholders to develop, manage and implement the digital media side of our corporate communications.

Ability to prioritize and schedule work and manage time effectively, anticipating problems and adjusting the allocation of resources and time accordingly.
Social and Digital Media Content

Publish engaging visuals and video assets for social media and marketing campaigns

Provide content support for the ferry website, travel blog, e-newsletters and digital magazine.

Assist in covering live events, giveaways, and seasonal promotions on digital platforms.
Brand Storytelling

Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual campaigns that highlight customer experiences, cultural connections, and tourism packages.

Contribute to storytelling around new route launches, onboard services, and special events.

Bring the Caribbean ferry lifestyle to life with creative, culturally resonant visuals.
Asset Management and Quality Control

Maintain an organized content library with labeled and optimized assets.

Ensure all content meets quality, brand, and copyright standards.

Optimize all media for mobile viewing, fast load times, and platform-specific formats

Any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies

Strong video editing skills; Proficiency in Graphic Design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite; Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva)

Photography and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools)

Experience working with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress and WIX.

Familiarity with social media trends and content formats (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)

Graphic design experience desirable: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva REQUIRED

Familiarity with AI tools to boost efficiency and optimization.

Ability to manage multiple content projects with a strong eye for storytelling and detail

Understanding of Caribbean travel and cultural nuances is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements

Associate or BSc/BA in Digital Media, Fine Arts, Film Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

3+ years' experience in a similar content creation role, ideally in travel, tourism, lifestyle, or entertainment.

Demonstrated portfolio of short-form video, photography, and branded digital content
-
Drone operation or animation skills (optional but preferred).

Bilingual (English + Spanish/French/Dutch) is an asset.
